Our border is an area rich with culture and stories. The Las Cruces Press Women invites you to listen to four women who have told stories from both sides. On Saturday, February 28, LCPW will host a panel of four speakers titled, “Journalism on the Border.” Join El Paso Times journalist Diana Washington Valdez, NMSU research librarian and Latin American specialist Molly Molloy, New Mexico Fronteras Desk correspondent Mónica Ortiz Uribe, and NMSU professor and journalist Lourdes Cárdenas at 10:30 a.m. at the Thomas Branigan Memorial Library for a discussion on their experiences with border journalism, border politics, and border stories.

The talk is hosted by the Las Cruces Press Women, a professional organization for women and men working in any field of communications. Meetings are open to anyone interested in the topics being presented and there is no charge to attend.
