Volunteer to help raise funds for Habitat for Humanity

SWS Report | December, 2016 | Community Services

Would you like to support our local Habitat for Humanity without picking up a hammer and nail to help build a house? How about wrapping gifts at Barnes and Noble at the Mesilla Valley Mall to earn funds to support the organization?

All supplies are provided. A table and chairs are provided at the mall entrance to the store with a donation box. It’s simple: you wrap and the customer donates.

It’s a fun way to meet the locals and benefit Habitat. Volunteers need to be 16 years and up and know the basics of gift wrapping.

One person per shift was needed at press time, unless otherwise noted. To volunteer, contact Ann McPhee, mcpt4@yahoo.com, (847) 274-7455 (text or call).
