Legal Issues

The New Mexico Watercolor Society—Southern Chapter invites the public to a special program about legal issues pertaining to the world of art, including artists, galleries, collectors, and museums. Bill Frazier, a retired attorney and consultant to art groups, will address such issues as copyright infringement, contracts, internet piracy, property rights of artists, and legal duties and responsibilities of gallery and museum directors. He will speak and answer questions on November 12 at 3 p.m. at the Good Samaritan Society auditorium at 3011 Buena Vida Circle.

Anyone interested in art law is welcome to attend this free lecture. No reservations are required. For more information, contact NMWS Program Director Beverley Pirtle at MsBevPirtle@comcast.net.
