Vincent Van Gogh was an artist whose life continues to intrigue us. To interpret his life through the letters he sent to his brother, Theo, Philip Stephens wrote a play entitled simply, Van Gogh. The play is a reflection of the life of Vincent Van Gogh. The production portrays a conversation Theo Van Gogh has with the audience; Theo reflects on the many letters Vincent wrote to him throughout the years to present a historical review of Vincents’ life and work.
The one-man play stars Joshua Vanderhoof as Theo Van Gogh. The play is directed by Ken Forestal and presented by ToadHall Theatre Company. Although admission is free, donations will be accepted.
